21 Weeks!

Well we officially have hit the half way mark and can not believe how fast it went!! We figured we should announce it finally to the world that we are expecting another precious little girl!!! I can't wait to use all my pink stuff again :) I don't think Elizabeth has fully understood what is happening, but she will be the greatest big sister!!! Our due date is October 5th!!

Where Dreams Come True....

This past week we took Elizabeth to Disney World. What a trip!!!! It rained quite a bit while we were there, but it did not slow us down at all. Here is a video I put together of some of our pictures...it was so hard not to include every picture we took because there were so many fun ones. Enjoy the video!

There were just too many great pictures from the trip, but here are a few of our favorites.

The first night we went to Magic Kingdom and watched the Spectro Magic Parade and the fireworks. It was such a fun night and Elizabeth LOVED all the lights!

On Tuesday morning, we had a character breakfast with PlayHouse Disney and met June, Leo, JoJo, and Goliath. Elizabeth had so much fun meeting all the characters, but we could not keep her from running up to them over and over and giving them hugs. It was too funny!

The next day we headed to Epcot, which was Nathan's favorite park. We went to meet Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto and Goofy first. Elizabeth just loves to see all the characters in person and is always is such awe of them. :)

Look who we stumbled into...Snow White. Elizabeth walked around for the rest of the day with red all over her forehead from her kiss from Snow White...it was so cute!

On Thursday we headed to Magic Kingdom. The park opened early that day, so Daddy went to ride rides early while Elizabeth and I went to meet some of her favorite characters. Ariel was definitely her favorite, so we went to meet her in the Grotto.

We also ran into Cinderella, Belle, Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), and Daisy :) Elizabeth was asking for Daisy non stop after we met all her friends the day before :)

The last day we went to Animal Kingdom to have breakfast with Donald, Mickey, Daisy and Goofy. We went early so Daddy could ride the Mount Everest roller coaster. I actually got a picture of him...he is the very last guy in the back.

Then we headed to our breakfast with Donald and friends. It was a good way to end the week. Elizabeth kept asking to see more shows :)

Last week of school...

Elizabeth just loved her Child's Day Out on Monday and Wednesday mornings. She was always so excited to go see her teacher Mrs. Deena, and all her friends in her class. These are a few of the pictures of the group practicing for their end of year program. Elizabeth missed the program because we were at Disney World this past week, so I thought I should go see her practice. It was the CUTEST thing I have ever seen. I just love her little "school"!! We were truly blessed to have such wonderful people in her life this year!

The weekend before we headed out to Orlando for Disney World, Luke and Tara Etheredge came to visit us in SC. We had so much fun with our good friends while they were here! We went to the beach one day, toured Charleston, and ate at a great restaurant downtown called Cypress.

Mother's Day Weekend!

What a fun weekend! Brent and Chrissy Laffere came to visit us in SC this weekend. It was a jam packed weekend of fun stuff and beautiful weather. We ate on the water, went to the beach, toured downtown and the beautiful houses, toured the air force base and the C-17, and even attended a Change of Command on base for the new Wing Commander.

The weather was so warm and beautiful this past weekend, so we took out the slip n slide for Elizabeth while we hung out in the yard. She LOVES it!!

Her neighbor friend, Kyndal, had to come show her how to slide!

On Sunday after our guests went home we decided to celebrate Mother's Day relaxing and watching a movie. Elizabeth was SO excited to have all the treats and cuddle with Mommy and Daddy on the floor.

Elizabeth's Big Girl Room!!

We are finally putting some finishing touches to Elizabeth's big girl room! We got some old furniture from Nathan's family that was in pretty bad shape, so we decided to refinish it and paint it white. It turned out better than expected and Elizabeth LOVES it! The bed sits really high and she likes to climb up and play on it with all her "friends" aka stuffed animals and babies.

The furniture had an old style vanity with a mirror that I just had to change up a bit. We bought a different mirror and made the vanity more of a desk...Elizabeth likes to sit on her hot pink chair and play :)

Jan, Nathan's mom, had a cedar chest in her house that we really wanted for Elizabeth. It is covered with one of Jan's old quilts right now because we need to refinish this piece as well, but we are taking one project at a time.

Nathan's Trip

My camera was taken hostage on a trip around the world for 2 weeks with Nathan. I was very happy to see it return in one piece, and of course with some fun pictures of Nathan's trip. I thought I would share some of his photos from this last trip.
